Finally a GPU

I finally did it. Let me repeat myself, I finally did it. I like to point out to my reading public that exercising really does clear the mind. I feel so much more livid with all this recent exercise. Or maybe it is the very crisp cold air or maybe the jaunt to Yosemite helped me out. Anyhow, life ain't bad for me lately but I digress. I finally made put my foot down and made a firm decision on a video card. About fricking time if you ask me but please don't ask me, it is a sore topic.


I bought an eVGA Geforce GTX 570 HD superclocked GPU from Amazon.com. After months and months of research on mostly TomsHardware.com and getting sick of waiting for either divine intervention or a crazy deal on a higher end video card, my patience ran out and I decided this card offered the best of all of my video processing needs.

I have since returned the PNY cards I bought earlier in the month. For whatever reason, that 560 TI card was so uninspiring to me. Case closed. I have all the major components for my computer build. I'm ready to geek out more. Oh wait, I think I might buy a Blu-ray drive. Maybe. Not a game changer at this point though.
