I shot this series of images over six months ago. I've reviewed these images countless times. Nothing about the raw files inspired me. When I walked by this scene, I recall just thinking, this is one of the more trademark looking Venice looking areas. Nothing too special but it had a coffee tablebook/tourist brochure feeling about it. I also remember making her wait for me as I set up the Joby GP3 (buy it here) and fired off two sets of three bracketed shots. That was the first time I put the Joby to use. I wrapped it around the bridge railing. Twas kind of cool. I thank her for her patience.

Funny how inspiration comes at odd times. I had that creative bug in my during the last few days. I made this image you see before you. Yes, I know, this photo is Postcard-ie. Enjoy.
