Got your attention, didn’t I? I’m just kidding. I’m not a wild guy. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not wild. The women who hit on me, they might be considered wild but not me.
I’m excited to be planning a trip to Tibet this summer. As many of my friends will attest to, my camera is my girlfriend and I treat her good.
I take her to exotic locations. (Tibet baby)
I buy her accessories. (Tilt-shift lens perhaps?)
I take classes to learn how to treat her better. Keep reading.
Nothing is too good for my *cough cough* girlfriend. In anticipation of my trip to Tibet, I just signed up for The Versatile Travel Photographer Seminar hosted by National Geographic Traveler Magazine.
Here’s the marketing info from the website.
Great travel photography requires a command of several types of photography, including portraits and candids of people, nature/landscapes, festivals/celebrations, and architecture/cityscapes. Join National Geographic Traveler photographers Ralph Lee Hopkins and Bob Krist as they show you how to add depth and “local color” to your travel photography by incorporating all of the elements above. Simple tricks for using flash to expand when and where you can shoot will also be discussed as well as recording audio so you can produce multi-media slide shows of your work.
Let’s hope I learn something.
Not only does my Art Center At Night class start this week, I’ll be returning to campus for the seminar. Life is full these days.
